At the beginning of the year, we moved from our co-working space in Old Granada Studios into our own space and set up home in Royal Mills, where our ‘N’ hangs proudly on the wall. Shortly after, two became ten as we introduced designers, videographers, strategists and developers to proudly build the Noir Family.
In September, we turned ONE and threw a huge first birthday bash with our family, friends and clients at Foundry Film Studios. Our work took pride of place, as it was displayed on the walls for guests to see as they listened to the sound of The Richards Brothers and DJ Holly Lester throughout the night.
Throughout the year, we won our first awards, including ‘Best Brand Agency’ at The TOMS, ‘Startup Agency of the Year’ at the Digital Entrepreneur Awards, as well as being listed in YENA’s Future 15. We received some great press coverage discussing our client wins, first birthday and what’s to come from Noir in the Manchester Evening News, BDAILY, Prolific North and Business Cloud.
We expanded to the Capital, taking space in a Grade I listed warehouse, Tobacco Dock, and shortly after began our partnership with Heath London, a male grooming range based in Primrose Hill. We also made the big jump across the pond to San Francisco and began our relationship with Silicon Valley-based pharmaceutical company PaxVax, to raise awareness of cholera amongst US healthcare professionals and consumers.
Best of all, we worked with amazing local, national and International clients such as PaxVax, Toast PR, Nanopsis, Dreamr, The Toast Rack, Forge Poise and Generation Property, Savant², Heath, Bio ID, Menagerie and Connected Pictures. This year, we’re delighted to continue these partnerships and are looking forward to working with Create Edge Training and Coaching, Matrix Physiotherapy and Soccer Agents Academy and many more in the year to come.
