Leading the charge in renewables and sustainability

Award-winning renewables company myenergi marked their significant recent growth with a brand new refreshed look. The rebrand reflects the company’s continued advancements in the ever-growing renewables industry and includes a brand-new website, logo, product packaging design, iconography and typography.

After 2 years of incredible growth, the brand didn’t reflect who they are today. We were approached by myenergi to re-energise the brand, create an emotional connection between the customers and the products and help myenergi articulate their mission.

In October 2018 we started on a 6 month partnership with myenergi’s leadership team. Firstly we immersed ourselves into their world through a series of interactive workshops, along with interviews with customers, team members and partners to gather transformational insights.

We identified that myenergi weren’t simply selling energy saving products; they wanted to spark a widespread movement of environmental change for the better. With this in mind, we knew their new look and messaging had to embody their inspiring mission.

The new branding conveys the myenergi mission to educate and inspire action within the community leading to an uprise in green energy. We designed graphical elements that use a visual language to represent the flow and movement of electrical charge. The bolt represents a continuous charge of energy which serves to ignite a spark in the community to inspire them to become changemakers.

We then designed and built a custom ecommerce website with user experience at the heart of the design. Our goal was to create and develop a platform for the myenergi team of passionate ecowarriors to educate the masses and promote sustainable energy consumption solutions.

The website is complemented by seamless transitions and guided scrolling that creates an effortless flow for the user to experience. Being a future focussed brand, the tone and visuals used across the website reflect how myenergi want to speak to the world to make a better place.

Myenergi are market leaders driving significant change in the renewables sector, providing homes across the whole of the UK and Europe with innovative green products. However, despite pioneering the move towards a more sustainable future, their ever-growing team are careful to maintain the authentic and less-corporate approach that has set them apart from competitors since day one. Jordan says: “The core values were really important to us, and we spent a lot of time brainstorming ideas with the Noir team to ensure they remained embedded with myenergi and our culture.
